Warranty
Two years or forty thousand kilometres.
On parts and labour, on everything we fit. That is longer than most main dealers give, and it is written on the invoice rather than implied.
What it covers
Every part we supply and every hour of labour we charge for. If something we repaired fails within two years or 40,000 kilometres of the repair, whichever comes first, bring it back and we fix it at no cost, including the labour.
We do not charge a diagnostic fee to look at our own work. We do not ask you to prove the fault is ours before we investigate. If we find the failure was nothing to do with our repair we will tell you and quote for the new work, but the looking is free.
The warranty follows the car, not the owner. If you sell it, the remaining cover goes with it, and the new owner only needs the invoice.
What it does not cover
Wear items used up normally. Brake pads, tyres, wiper blades, bulbs and clutch friction plates all wear out by design. A pad that is worn after 30,000 kilometres has done its job. A pad that has come apart in 3,000 is a fault and is covered.
Damage from an accident, from flood water, or from continuing to drive with a known fault after we told you not to. If we say stop driving it, that goes in writing on the invoice.
Parts you supplied yourself. We will fit them, but the warranty then covers our labour only. This is noted on the invoice at the time so there is no discussion about it two years later.
Consequential loss. We will fix what we got wrong. We do not cover a missed flight, a hire car or lost earnings, and no independent garage in the country does.
Making a claim
Ring, do not just turn up

Bring the car in
We look at it the same day where we can, and always within two working days. No charge for the inspection.
We fix it or we explain
If it is our work, we repair it free and give you a new invoice showing the original warranty date unchanged. If it is not, we say so and quote.
